I was born and trained in Argentina and later moved to Canada to continue developing my clinical and research experience in psychology and neuropsychology. Working in different countries and cultural environments has strengthened my appreciation for the importance of understanding each client within their individual, family, educational, and cultural context. I believe that a high-quality psychological assessment requires more than test scores; it involves careful listening, empathetic interviewing, a detailed review of the client’s history, and the thoughtful integration of all available information.

I hold a PhD in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience and have more than 10 years of experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessment. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults presenting with a wide range of psychological, neurological, developmental, and cognitive concerns. My experience includes the assessment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, anxiety, depression, dementias and other emotional and behavioural conditions.

A significant part of my clinical and research work has focused on cognitive functioning in individuals with neurological and medical conditions. I have experience assessing memory, attention, language, processing speed, executive functioning, intellectual abilities, and emotional functioning in individuals with concerns related to dementia, Parkinson’s disease, acquired brain injury, cancer, cardiovascular conditions, and other neurological or health-related difficulties. My doctoral research examined the relationship between cardiovascular health, biological markers, and cognitive functioning, contributing to my broader understanding of the complex relationship between physical health, emotional well-being, and cognition.

When you attend an assessment, we will begin with a detailed clinical interview to discuss your concerns, personal history, current functioning, and the questions you would like the assessment to address. Based on this information, an individualized assessment battery will be developed to evaluate the areas most relevant to your needs. The results are then carefully scored, interpreted, and integrated with information gathered during the interview and from any available records or questionnaires.

Following the assessment, I work collaboratively with my supervising psychologist to develop a comprehensive understanding of your strengths, challenges, and diagnostic profile. A written report is prepared outlining the findings, diagnostic impressions when applicable, and practical recommendations. During the feedback session, we will discuss the results in clear and accessible language and review recommendations that may support your functioning at home, at school, at work, or in your personal life.

My professional experience includes working as a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist in Argentina, providing psychological and neuropsychological assessments in hospital, rehabilitation, educational, and private-practice settings. In Canada, I have worked as a psychometrist conducting psychoeducational and psychological assessments and as a postdoctoral researcher in neuropsychology at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. These experiences have allowed me to combine a scientifically grounded approach with an empathetic, collaborative, and client-centred style of care.
