Taking the first step toward understanding and addressing life’s challenges is an act of courage, and I commend you for beginning this journey. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, the effects of trauma, or simply navigating the complexities of everyday life, meaningful change is possible. Together, we will explore the concerns that have brought you to therapy, develop a deeper understanding of the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create practical strategies that are tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of well-being. I look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

I am a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Fielding University, completing my residency under the supervision of Dr. Marc Bedard, C. Psych, Dr. Dino Zuccarini, C. Psych and Dr. Lila Hakim, C. Psych. In my work with individuals, I support clients experiencing a wide range of emotional concerns, including anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions, and work or family stress. I also work with individuals navigating the effects of traumatic or life-altering experiences, including various forms of abuse, neglect, grief, and loss, as well as those facing interpersonal or relational challenges, whether rooted in the past or present.

My work with couples focuses on helping partners strengthen their relationship while navigating the challenges that naturally arise over time. Whether you are struggling with communication, intimacy, trust, conflict, sexual compatibility, parenting, or the pressures of work and major life transitions, I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space to explore these concerns together. I also work with couples healing from relational injuries, including infidelity, trauma, or significant loss, and those seeking to reconnect with one another and rediscover a shared sense of meaning and purpose. I welcome individuals and couples from diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds, recognizing and valuing the unique experiences each person brings into the therapy room.

Our first meeting is an opportunity for us to understand what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. We will discuss your concerns, your goals, and how I believe we can work together to help you reach them. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and I strive to create an environment that feels welcoming, transparent, and collaborative from the very beginning. During the early stages of treatment, I conduct a comprehensive, evidence-based assessment to better understand the factors contributing to your current difficulties. This process helps us move beyond symptoms to identify the underlying patterns that may be influencing your emotional well-being and relationships.

As therapy progresses, we will develop a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs, strengths, and preferences. My approach is collaborative, integrative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Depending on your concerns, I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and other empirically supported approaches. My goal is not only to help reduce distress but also to provide you with the insight, skills, and confidence needed to create lasting and meaningful change.

Your well-being remains my highest priority throughout our work together. I encourage open communication and welcome your feedback so that we can continually adapt our approach in ways that feel meaningful and effective for you. Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, curiosity, and commitment, and I look forward to working alongside you as you move toward the life and relationships you want to create.
