Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to navigate life’s challenges? Do you find yourself grappling with feelings of depression, anxiety, or emotional turmoil? At the Centre for Interpersonal Relationships, I offer a supportive, compassionate therapeutic relationship designed to help you overcome the obstacles that stand in the way of a fulfilling, connected life.

Individual Therapy:  In our work together, I assist individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including different forms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenging negative emotions. Whether you are facing difficulties with self-identity, personal boundaries, or interpersonal relationships in your home or workplace, I am here to help. I also have a special focus on clients seeking to address career-related challenges and professional development. Additionally, I provide assessment and treatment for adult ADHD, along with comprehensive psychological evaluations to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

During our initial sessions, I will conduct a clinical interview to gain insight into your struggles and collaboratively set goals for our therapeutic journey. Using evidence-based questionnaires, we will explore the nature of your difficulties, which will inform a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your values and aspirations. My integrative therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavior, mindfulness-based, psychodynamic, attachment-based, and Adlerian frameworks, ensuring that our work is tailored to your unique needs. Together, we will strive to help you thrive by aligning with your authentic self, fostering greater clarity, joy, and inner peace.

Couple Therapy:  In couples therapy, I support partners in developing secure attachment bonds and improving emotional connectedness, physical intimacy, and communication skills. I understand that healthy communication is pivotal in building secure relationships. I provide guidance for couples seeking to repair their relationship following infidelity or emotional injuries due to betrayal, and I address common issues such as finances, differing expectations, division of responsibilities, in-law conflicts, and balancing togetherness with individuality.

In our initial session, both partners will identify key areas of concern to address in therapy. Following individual sessions to gain a deeper understanding of each partner’s perspective, I will apply evidence-based assessment protocols to guide our work together. Following an individual session for each of you, I will use an evidence-based assessment protocol and a clinical interview to learn more about your self and your past relationship experiences from childhood to adulthood. These individual sessions will allow me to understand what you bring from your past self and relationship development into your current difficulties in your couple relationship.

I am completing my final year of training at the Centre for Interpersonal Relationships doctoral residency program under the supervision of Dr. Dino Zuccarini, C. Psych., and Dr. Shaofan Bu, C. Psych.  I am currently completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at Adler Graduate Professional School. Prior to my doctoral residency, I completed various doctoral-level practicum trainings in ADHD assessment and executive coaching at the Toronto Psycho-educational Clinic and couples therapy at Dr. Melodie’s Psychology Clinic (formerly at the Toronto Psychology Clinic).

Previously, I spent years in corporate and consulting roles, which now informs my ability to support clients navigating professional stressors, workplace conflict, or leadership challenges.  I also hold another doctorate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. My current doctoral dissertation explores the conceptual uptake of the Coping Circumplex Model (CCM) in adult ADHD research. My master’s thesis focused on developing an Adlerian model of leadership. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Outside of clinical work, I enjoy taking my dog, Kismet, to the park, playing ball with my cat, Mystique, and practicing Transcendental Meditation (TM) to stay grounded and present.
