Reaching out for support with personal and family challenges takes significant bravery, and I truly respect you for making this important decision. I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and their families navigate their unique journeys toward greater understanding and well-being. My work is grounded in empathy, respect, and an appreciation for the diverse cultural and linguistic identities that shape each individual’s experience.

I have comprehensive experience conducting psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning in children, youth, and adults. My work supports individuals experiencing a variety of challenges, including learning difficulties, attention and executive functioning issues, autism spectrum disorders, and other developmental concerns. My practice is informed by evidence-based approaches and tailored to provide insights that foster growth and resilience.

When working with clients, I aim to create a collaborative and supportive environment. In an initial session, I will take the time to understand your family’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Through thorough, scientifically grounded assessments, I work to provide a clear understanding of the underlying factors contributing to current challenges. This process equips clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to move forward with confidence. I prioritize clear communication and strive to make the assessment and feedback process accessible and meaningful for families.

Over the past years, I have provided clinical services in various settings, including private practices, school boards, university clinics, and Applied Behavior Analysis settings. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse needs, as well as those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. My clinical and research work focuses on developing culturally adapted assessment tools to better serve individuals, children, and families. I have also contributed to research on literacy development, figurative language assessments, and the use of assistive technologies in educational contexts.

I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with basic proficiency in Korean, which further supports my ability to connect with and understand clients from various cultural backgrounds. As a psychometrist, I am committed to providing compassionate, individualized care that empowers families to thrive.
