It takes strength to ask for support, especially when navigating emotional pain, questions surrounding identity, or patterns that feel stuck. Whether you’re struggling with low mood, heightened anxiety, or difficulties in relationships, I strive to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering. I work with adults from all walks of life, including individuals processing identity exploration, mood disorders, low self-worth, and life transitions.

Many of my clients come to therapy hoping to better understand themselves and build stronger connections, with others and with themselves. I support clients facing a range of challenges including depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, sexual concerns, and shame-based thinking. I offer both individual and relationship therapy, and I welcome those seeking support for challenges that may feel difficult to speak about elsewhere.

I have particular interests and experience in working with concerns related to sexual functioning, intimacy, nonmonogamy, and identity—including low desire, sexual avoidance, out-of-control sexual behaviour, and the impact of past experiences on current relational patterns. I am also passionate about supporting individuals navigating the effects of chronic shame or internalized stigma.

In our work together, we’ll begin by exploring your goals and building a shared understanding of your experience. I conduct a comprehensive, evidence-informed assessment to help us get to the heart of your concerns. From there, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), psychodynamic approaches, and sex therapy frameworks. My intention is to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and collaboration as we move toward your goals.

I have experience in both private practice and hospital settings, supporting a diverse range of clients, many of whom identify as part of the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I work with individuals facing complex challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, and sexually compulsive behaviours. My clinical approach is collaborative and compassionate, aimed at exploring the different facets of your experience and fostering greater internal harmony.

Prior to becoming a therapist, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and worked in the corporate sector where I led training and change initiatives. This experience deepened my understanding of how personal wellbeing is shaped by the broader systems we live as well as work within, and continues to inform my therapeutic lens.

I hold a Master of Psychology degree from Adler Graduate Professional School and have completed additional training in sex therapy and trauma-informed care. As a therapist at CFIR I provide individual psychotherapy for adults under the supervision of Dr. Lila Z. Hakim, C.Psych., Co-Founder CFIR Toronto.

As part of my commitment to professional development, I engage in regular supervision and training to deepen my practice and stay current with emerging research.
