In our therapy together, you can expect a collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental relationship focused on your growth and well-being. My areas of interest are with adults, spanning a wide range of concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, emotion regulation, trauma, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, parenting, life transitions, and many other related issues. In couples therapy, I help partners navigate various challenges, including communication issues, conflicts, intimacy concerns (emotional, physical, and sexual), trust, infidelity, betrayals, infertility, and parenting struggles. For fertility counseling, I aim to support individuals and couples facing conception difficulties, coping with pregnancy loss, and dealing with perinatal and post-partum experiences, as well as making decisions about family-building. Under the supervision of Dr. Melodie Britt, I am dedicated to enhancing my skills in couples therapy and fertility counseling to better assist those facing these complex issues.

From our very first session, I aim to establish an emotionally safe space where you can freely express yourself. Using a variety of modalities, we’ll develop a personalized strategy to address your concerns and achieve meaningful outcomes. Using a comprehensive set of assessments, we will gauge important and relevant information that would help in formulating an action plan and gain better understanding of your problems. Throughout this process, I prioritize providing structure, organizing information based on complexity, and fostering a framework for self-reflection and growth. Your journey towards positive change starts here, and I’m committed to guiding and supporting you every step of the way.

Drawing from psychoanalytic and dynamic insights, we’ll delve into the unconscious mind to uncover deep-seated patterns and beliefs. Humanistic and existential perspectives will guide us in understanding your values, personal growth, and search for meaning. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)  techniques will empower you with practical tools to manage challenging emotions and thought patterns, thereby facilitating growth. Our journey together is about fostering resilience, self-discovery, and a greater sense of well-being.

I am currently in the process of getting registered as a Psych Associate at the College of Psychologist of Ontario. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, have completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, as well as a post-graduate in Autism and Behavioral Sciences. Additionally, I have provided psychotherapy services at a non-profit organization catering to underprivileged children, working with a diverse clientele ranging in age, cultural background, socioeconomic status, gender, and religious beliefs. I have also facilitated workshops on various topics including mental health and effective coping strategies, healthy relationships, body image & self-esteem, and other relevant issues.

At the Centre for Interpersonal Relationships (CFIR), I provide clinical services to adults and couples under the supervision of Dr. Melodie Britt, Psy.D., C. Psych  Co-Founder CFIR St. Catharines.
